Who we are
Solid Driveways & Landscaping is a West Sussex based groundworks and landscaping firm working across West Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. We lay driveways, patios and paving, build walls, and take on full garden transformations.
We’re deliberately not a big outfit. You deal with the same person from the first phone call to the final sweep-down, and the team that quotes your job is the team that turns up to do it.
The name says what we care about. Anyone can lay a nice-looking surface. The difference between a drive that looks good for one summer and one that looks good in fifteen years is what happens underneath it — the dig, the sub-base, the drainage and the edge restraint. That’s where we spend the time.

We come out, measure up and put everything in writing — materials, depths, what’s included and what isn’t. No day-rate surprises halfway through.
Type 1 sub-base, real mortar beds, concrete haunching and brand-name blocks and slabs. We’ll tell you exactly what’s going in.
Skips and grab lorries booked, roads swept, and your driveway usable again as soon as it safely can be.
Public liability cover in place on every job, and we’re happy to send the certificate over before we start.
All our work is guaranteed for five years, terms and conditions apply. If something isn’t right, we come back and put it right.
Coverage
We’re based in West Sussex and most of our work is within about an hour of home — that covers the whole of West Sussex, plus east Hampshire, much of Surrey and the surrounding areas.
